A breeze of renewed prestige
After more than 40 years of success, the Club decided to renovate its infrastructure to improve the quality of the golf course and club facilities.
Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is the most exclusive and prestigious members-only club on the Costa del Sol. Designed in 1968 by Robert Trent Jones Sr. during one of his most prolific phases, it has become one of Spain’s premier courses, hosting top-level tournaments such as the Spanish Open and the World Cup.
After more than 40 years of success, the Club decided to renovate its infrastructure to improve the quality of the golf course and club facilities. This ambitious project included design updates by renowned architect Kyle Phillips.
The renovation involved extensive structural renovations with the highest quality standards, updating golf course feature locations to adapt to current playing distances.
All the playing areas were renovated as well as all the main infrastructures such as cart paths, irrigation system, lakes, drainage system, water reservoirs and bridges.
Fairways and roughs were planted with certified hybrid Bermuda var. Celebration, tee boxes and surrounds with TeeOne bentgrass and putting surfaces with A4 bentgrass.
Surtec Golf Agronomy was appointed as Project Managers, overseeing the precise execution of construction works while ensuring effective financial planning, adherence to construction schedules, quality control and compliance with regulations.
